Fox & Windmill is an independent publisher based in Lancashire and West Yorkshire. We specialise in publishing collections by South Asian writers. Our slow publishing process means that we are ethical, not run by trends, eco-friendly and seek quality work and produce quality books.
Set up by two friends who met at University with a hunger for books and passion for sharing exciting and new stories, Fox & Windmill has since been shortlisted for The Bookseller FutureBook Award and the British Muslim Award. We have been recognised as the UK’s first independent publishing company for South Asian writers.

Habiba is one of the founders at F&W, her main role is to oversee the publishing process of the manuscripts from editing, typesetting, printing and finally distribution in bookshops far and wide.
When she isn’t working, you can find her taking photographs, reading Persuasion for the umpteenth time or exploring the Lakes.
